Leading wire forming machine manufacturer specializing in the development of welding technology.
Wire ring machine changeover validation should show whether the operator can move between approved products and recover a previous setup. During Canton Fair supplier discussions, request a demonstration that reflects your batch mix. A continuous run of one easy ring does not answer the questions raised by frequent size changes.
Select ring A and ring B from your intended production schedule, then run A, change to B and return to A. For a diameter-change study, keep wire specification unchanged where practical. If the real change also requires another wire diameter or grade, include it but identify that broader scope in the result.
Choose products that challenge different aspects of setup, such as a smaller ring with limited handling space and a larger ring requiring different support. Use only dimensions that the supplier has confirmed for the proposed configuration. Do not treat the widest catalog range as evidence that every combination is feasible.
The horizontal ring forming and butt welding machine is a relevant product page for discussing a combined forming and joining route. Buyers comparing configurations can also review the wire ring forming machine with resistance butt welding. Ask the supplier to name the tools, guides, electrodes and recipe changes required for A and B before the trial begins.
Keep forming adjustments distinct from welding adjustments. A ring diameter change may affect how the ends meet and how the part is supported, even when the wire material stays the same. Record which changes are automatic, which require manual adjustment and which require replacement tooling.
Run ring A to the agreed acceptance condition and retain its recipe revision and samples. Define whether size refers to inside, outside or centerline diameter. Use the guide to controlling ring diameter roundness and flatness to establish consistent measurement states and methods. A diameter spread can screen ovality, but it is not a substitute for a specified geometric roundness assessment.
Check the joint separately from overall geometry and save the result with the same sample ID. The baseline should be an accepted production condition, not an unfinished setup. Label any trial-only adjustments so they are not silently transferred into the later production recipe.
Start timing at the last accepted A part and end at the agreed stable sequence of accepted B parts. Break the record into tooling work, recipe selection, material handling, trial production and inspection. Report any work done in advance, such as preparing a second electrode set, because it still requires time and resources.
Count setup rings and classify the reason for rejection. Keep the same inspection rules for early and late samples. If a supplier reports only the time spent changing a screen value, that figure does not describe the complete transition to accepted output.
Use the wire ring weld quality inspection guide to plan the joint evidence required by your application. An attractive joint does not by itself demonstrate load-bearing performance. Agree any destructive or application-specific tests, sample quantities and acceptance limits with the responsible technical team before testing.
Record the approved welding settings, electrode identification and any joint finishing step. Preserve the association between each tested sample and the settings used to produce it. If geometry is corrected after welding, document that additional operation rather than presenting the ring as accepted directly from the machine.
Reload the recorded A setup using the normal operator procedure. Compare the new A samples with the original drawing requirements and baseline data. Record additional corrections, trial pieces and recovery time. The useful result is whether the documented setup can be recovered consistently, not whether a specialist can eventually make another good ring.
Use a three-row record for A initial, B and A return. Each row should identify the recipe, tooling, elapsed transition time, setup scrap, geometry results, weld results and open issues. If the return run needs a revised setting, save a new revision with the reason and retest any affected requirement.
Before approval, request the setup sheets, tool list, accepted samples and training scope for both ring sizes. contact Jinchun Machine with your ring family drawings and ask Jinchun to confirm an A B A demonstration for the proposed equipment. Keep the final acceptance tied to your parts and recorded conditions.
